Drinks in the late afternoon with chums Spike, Kris with a K, Keith, Kathryn, Bernie and the Exec Producer...
We mentioned we were off tonight to Bar Napoli to celebrate nephew Craig's upcoming 24th birthday - whereupon Kris advised whenever he's out and gets slaughtered, he ends up in that very restaurant, up the back with tasty Pollo a al Crema...
Last time this happened, one of his girlfriend's chums came in coincidentally, noticed him and his state of awareness and took some photos with his phone - she called him the next day asking if he remembered seeing her - as he didn't, she said "check your phone"...
Down to Iglu for a further pre-meet drink...
...then up to 99 Hanover Street to meet the families - Anne's and Craig's mum, Sharon's...
Post further drinks, a short walk to Bar Napoli, where a fine meal and much celebration was enjoyed - and possibly too much wine for your correspondent...
Taxi home post a good night - pockets considerably lighter - just as well I don't spend much on CDs...
