Cloudy this morning but still hot...
To City Bar for breakfast where I enjoyed the King of Pastries...
Took a couple of pics and gave a donation to a man I've seen a few times over the last few days - he stands at the corner of Via Roma and has a cardboard box with a cat and kitten on it along with a collection of mice...
Weird but not cruel - the cats and mice seemed to be best of friends...
Another day ticket bought today and we took a bus to the castle at St Michele, climbing the hill to the ruins from the bus terminus...
After a wander around, back down the hill to the bus and back to the town centre...
Foccaccia slices for lunch then on to a No 1 bus - just to see where it went...
Then came all the way back and saw where it went in the other direction - which was to a very dull part of the newer district - where everything was, by now, closed due to the siesta...
We walked up a very steep set of slopes back to the Castello - the old town - where we lived...
Back at the flat we read, drank wine and ate some crisps...
Out for dinner, via a bookshop and a new coffeee stop off, Tramer, which has been at the same spot for years judging by the pics on the wall...
Ended up in Piazza Yenne again this time to the Down Town Pizza Place where we enjoyed a very tasty pizza each and probably too much red wine...
Climbed back up the hill to the flat for tionight's big film, "Cast Away", curiously not dubbed...
Highlight of the Day : Pizza and red wine overload...
