Despite last night's late and drunken finish, I was up at 7:15 preparing CDs etc for posting this morning...

As agreed with Count Brodski, at 10:15 on the dot, post a visit to my lovely podiatrist, and the Post Office re CD orders, I was outside the church in George St where they were holding the annual Christian Aid book and music sale...

As not agreed, Brodski was nowhere to be seen...

So I ventured in alone and was accosted by various rude, presumably, Christians, pushing and shoving their way around this ruck and maul scenario...

I came a way with five classical CDs, purchased for £3 each, then phoned Brodski from outside...

He was "just leaving" his house - it was almost 11 am...

Went to the Record Fair and met with Dr Prog - Brodski appeared eventually and both my compadres made purchases...

So much so that the good doctor had to approach a hole in the wall for further funding just so we could all go for a coffee...

We bade the Doc farewell post coffee and his chat re last week's rugby league extravaganza in Edinburgh...

I walked with Brodski to the Cloudland Blue Mobile and took him to the Brodski Mobile before heading home, arriving with just a couple of minutes to spare before turning around and heading out again with Anne on foot...

We walked down the hill to catch a bus to brother-in-law Keith's for a tapas afternoon in honour of my recent birthday...

Ollie played with his Nintendo DS most of the day...

Kitty learned from Maureen's daughter Abbie and her friend Rosa, to cover her face whenever anyone tried to take her photo...

Another long bus trip back home after an enjoyable afternoon/evening's entertainment and "Match of the Day" rounded matters off...

Sadly no footage of Queens' last game of the season, coming from 2-0 down away at Livingston to draw 2-2 and finish fifth in the table, on the same points as sixth, seventh and eighth but with superior goal difference...

It could have been so different but for the ten game fiasco during the winter...

Oh well - roll on next year...

Highlight of the Day : Family party...
