Slept in till 10pm...
Breakfast at the flat...
Walked in the hot sun to the nearby Roman Amphitheatre, Cappuchine Monastery and Botanical Gardens...
Found ourselves back inside the city walls at the church of St Michael, and surprised to end up outside last night's pizzeria...
Made our way to the centre and found the main shopping street - very long - but Sardinians seem only to want to buy clothes, shoes and handbags...
Stopped by the BaArcellona Cafe for lovely coffee then wandered down to the harbour, enjoying a slice of foccaccia on the way for lunch...
Checked at the tourist info for buses to the nearby beach at Poetta before taking a look at the big department store on the front - more clothes, shoes and bags...
Walk up the hill home for a siesta then back out into a cooler late afternoon to St Remy where we enjoyed a couple of very expensive decadent beers at Cafe Antica before exploring more shopping streets, where I finally managed to locate a couple of CD shops for later exploration...
To department store Upim - more clothes...
Walked all the way back along to the main square, Piazza Yenne, to the same wee bar as yesterday and enjoyed some more Ichnusa sitting out in the late sun...
A text from home advised Queen of the South had been beaten 3-0 at home to Dunfermline - hopes of third place dashed...
Back up the hill to the flat then out to a nearby restaurant which looked good from the outside...
Inside, as we sat down, we were met with very loud thumping dance music...
Thankfully it was eventually turned down and we enjoyed a tasty steak each, accompanied by some more local beer...
A walk around the old town ramparts then back home for the night where we watched "The Day After Tomorrow" dubbed into Italian...
Highlight of the Day : Just walking about doing nothing...
