Banks - don't you just love them...

What ever happened to just holding your money for you and paying you a fair rate of interest, ok maybe a wee bit below what they were getting for lending your money out?

Why start lending to people who'll never be able to repay and then sell those loans to other people who don't really know what they're buying - when I say "other people" I mean, of course, other banks...

Dirty bastards...

Anyhow...

A slow day today after London, brightened up by Anne's culinary delights - a lovely pasta bake from one of Jamie Oliver's recipe books...

Lazed around watching the dreadful tedium that was the first half hour of "The Brits 2008"...

Then "Torchwood" and the death of main character Owen - nicely shocking - then "The Big Bang Theory" and "Reaper", then bedtime...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's tasty pasta bake
