Porridge and coffee again for breakfast then, post some music mucking about dropped Anne off at the Gyle then drove over to Prestonfield Golf Club to suss out the sound system for the funeral on Friday...

All good and, indeed simple, just plug in - although on closer inspection I noted their red aux jack is in the wrong socket... 

Down to Stockbridge for a look around the Shelter, Oxfam, BHF and Cancer Research shops...

Had to take pics of some things to see what might be lurking there...

From this in Shelter, I took the 11th up, a Purcell 2CD set...

And some other things - found nothing in the other shops though...

The Purcell - turns out I already have this - but it comprises two separate LPs so I added both to the collection...

...which was enjoyed...

Ended the day, downloading a shed load of nonsense including tunesless jazz, various 70s LPs by Johnny "Guitar" Watson, 2 LPS by David McCallum (Illya Kuryakin) who died today, a Neal Morse LP I somehow missed in August, the new one from Subsignal and the entire discography of new to me metal band, Sasquatch...

A good day...

This afternoon, out to Loanhead to deliver my mum to the 71st birthday party of the Women's' Rural..

Leaving her to her fun, I headed up to Penicuik and partook of 3 items at a quid each, between the two chazza shops there...

Back to collect mum - once again no car entry/exit assistance required...

Her tray from nephew Andrew has taken a bit of a battering due to her continually getting it caught in her hydraulic chair...

She refuses to bin it though, insisting on me sellotaping it together...

Saw to her tea, including pudding and, of course, forgot I should have been home at 5:30 for Anne to get to Pilates - Lynn to the rescue car-wise...

I was around 30 minutes late...

...and in charge of the baked potatoes tonight...

...which accompanied a 105 performance on "University Challenge"...

Also set about ripping the acquisitions later on...

That was about it I think...
