A dull Friday morning...

Today would be soundtracked mostly by new arrivals...

And, pre that listening, to listening to the new CBQ LP, which will be released next Friday - a week to get it all uploaded and sleeve notes written etc etc...

It does sound rather good though, if I say so myself - which I do...

Listening too to Edward Sparks' Pet Shop Boys-esque remix of "Underground Like Doug McClure", the original of which should finally be released on "Sparklemusik" on 7 May...

Anyway, breakfast...

We particularly appreciated the squares of home made fudge prepared by her son...

...while Anne prepped a tasty tea...

This may well have been even better than the fudge...

Which is fine by me...

WFH of course but a break for lunch and a salad enjoyed...

Clouded over in the afternoon...

The enjoyment of a downloaded ages ago but never really listened to Bad Plus concert in Italy in 2019, led me to trawl the net for more Bad Plus and related offshoot items I perhaps did not have...

I found a track each on these - with the Bad Plus themselves covering Radiohead and offshoot, Halloween, Alaska covering Talk Talk...

Meanwhile, Anne was concocting a tasty tea, with the welcome involvement of prawns (well, welcomed by me anyway but probably not by the prawns)...

Very late on (midnight), we watched a ballet being streamed from the West Coast of the USA...

That was Thursday...
