Today's listening was sourced from these...

Here's what happened...
Up reasonably late...
...and, first thing, created new collaborational works with Atlanta's Robert Scott Thompson - using his latest EP and a couple of my guitar pieces as source recordings...
It was found to be good - by me anyway - and, indeed, later in the day by Robert when he gave it a listen...
A visit from Fang but, after pishing round the back of the TV last time, forced to dine on the front step...
...and then, off he went...
Not quite a full bulky uplift out the back as I headed to the Gyle for a Shingles Vaccination...
Home again just after 1, with rather a sore arm...
..and, at 1:45, took Anne to a meet up with Jane for the two of them to head to that Glasgow for a show...
After dropping Anne off, I made a stop at the big BHF out at Niddrie and picked up these two (13 hours of music) for £5.50...
The Jacques Loussier was released in 2003 - must've been recorded around the time I saw JL with my dad at the Queen's Hall...
Then, I popped to Portobello and, at the BHF there, acquired this for a quid...
Banging...
...and, at the Marie Curie, this for £1.50...
Punky...
The nearby Chest Heart and Stroke had no CDs but I picked these two books of short stories up for just 50p each...
...and headed home to the empty house, to rip and listen...
Back to the 70s...
...and, at some point, I might read too...
Meanwhile in Glasgow...
Prosecco was being quaffed, while a purchase was made in one of the city's oldest jewelers...
Then, to Zhima Chinese Restaurant, where tasty treats were enjoyed, along with more wine...
...before the theatre, for the dance show...
...where, it appears, even more wine was partaken of...
Spurred on by Anne's carousing, I eschewed some toast for a chippie tea and, coincidentally, bumped into neighbour Gary there...
He told me that, very sadly indeed, Lindsay's dad, Billy, who went to Anne and Jane's school - a lovely man, just 63 - had died yesterday morning, having suffered a heart attack while carrying out some stonemasonry work at Edinburgh Castle...
Tragic news...
Much chat about death ensued - including tales of relations who have gone and how they went etc etc...
You never know what's around the corner...
Back home, awaiting a call/message from Anne re travel arrangements, I watched "The Creator" a fairly stupid film about a war between humans and AI...
Soon the messages started coming in - more wine was on the menu but a bus was being aimed for by a rather the worse for wear pair...
Picked them up at the bottom of the hill at 11 and took Jane home...
Here's Anne's lovely golden bangle...
...purchased with the proceeds of the sale of other not quite so lovely golden stuff...
Bedtime...
Highlight of the Day : Back to the 70s...
