Up late today - just before 8 - having had almost 8 hours' sleep - a rarity for me these days...
Anyway...
More Haydn this morning as I wrote this up...
Around 11:30, out...
...and down the hill and a bus to Roseburn...
...then, a walk to Tynecastle to the jewelers, where new batteries were inserted into each of our watches for just £3.50 a pop...
More walking...
Up to Dundee St and Mustapha's Dera, for lunch...
Neither of us threw a six at Ludo...
...before the popadoms and other hitherto unexperienced but very nice things arrived...
The Veggie Pakora were superb, as were the accompanying sauces...
Followed by a curry each, with rice included in the price - unbelievable these days...
Mine was Lamb Lyllpuri...
Anne's was Chicken Masaledar...
...and a Peshwari Naan for good measure...
A constitutional was required post all of this and a walk to Haymarket was undertaken...
Home around 3:30...
Some reggae in the back room...
...watch still working...
Out front, one of the cats and the dog from over the road had both spotted wee Rocky walking around outside - I think they were jealous...
More reggae in the back room...
...as the sun was going down...
I'd noted that backing up my phone these days takes up a huge amount of space on my C Drive, as the music on it appears to be being backed up too (as I can no longer use Apple to transfer any to it)...
So I deleted everything and reloaded just my (so far) 58 LPs of the day...
No tea tonight...
Thursday night...
The next episode of the "SAS Rogues" was enjoyed, although it was particularly harrowing...
Two to go...
Some listening to the above LPs and, then, tried to watch "Bergerac" (the reboot) on the Tivo but, of course, I fell asleep...
And so, to bed at 11...
