Some "work" (ok downloading a psychedelic drone band I'd somehow forgotten about and "needed" to catch up on), breakfast, then, into town for an appointment...

The driver abandoned the bus for a comfort break...

On his return I asked him about where he stopped on Princes St (the app map was unclear)...

His response was "where the stops are" - or words to that effect...

Anyway, off at the Scott Monument and a short walk to The Apple Shop, arriving bang on 10:40...

Upstairs...

...and a couple of nice young men fixed the iPhone 13...

Out, after 50 minutes of my allotted 20 minute appointment...

No longer confident of the iPhone 13 and now knowing it really needed a new battery for another £80, contacted Gaz and he kindly agreed to reverse the deal, so I popped to the office to hand back the phone and receive a return of the cash laid out last Thursday... 

Another bus home...

Better driver...

In and, on Anne's return from Zumba/Cake, lunch and a "Night Agent" before she left again to see her mum...

Some time spent this afternoon re-organising my book shelves (or, rather, wine boxes)… 

Enjoyable apart from a finger scrape/cut… 

And nicely accompanied by some Spanish and French classical pieces from a tasty box bought, IIRC, during that lockdown..

Then, news that Mike Ratledge of Soft Machine had died, so, this...

...on CD...

...via my top, 3 speaker sound system, as explained in the sleeve notes of Brian Eno's "On Land"...

Later, news of a Black Sabbath reunion for one final gig, led this to be played...

Chicken and beans for tea, unpictured...

Unblocked everyone on Blue Sky apart from the SNP...

Watched the final two episodes of "The Night Agent" - everyone getting their just desserts - well, nearly everyone, those not doing so allowing a 3rd season to happen...

Then "Grantchester" - never any murders when we were there in 2022...

Also, for the umpteenth time, why is a vicar in the interrogation room?

Anyway, back upstairs for more music listening and to write this...

...and plugging back in the lead that allows the phone to be played through the system...

...the trusty iPhone 8 that is...

Although I am swithering about a Bluetooth adapter thing...
