To work immediately upon arising...

No one else was working - well, in the vicinity anyway...

The morning spent on the upcoming release from me and Pedantic Pedestrian, uploading my tracks, his tracks and the remixes he did back in 2016 which will be the bonus content - plus, later this afternoon, one more brand new remix created by him today...

I found the old CDs he sent me, nearly 10 years ago now, and, for the first time in almost said decade, I re-discovered his real name (Kevin Letts)...

I will call him "Mint"...

The back story?

"1982... My chum, the late lamented founder of Johnson's Gridling Band, gave me the soubriquet The Peppermint Wordsmith, when I was writing funny lyrics for said collective and was wont to wear a shiny green Genesis tour jacket. Then it got shortened to Mint and that's stuck ever since."

When releasing an LP, the most time consuming part of the upload is writing the sleeve notes and credits but, all done and dusted...

Had to revise them later though as Mint did not want his real name to be featured and, of course, I had to add in his final piece to proceedings...

It'll be out on Friday 21 February...

Filing the CDs taken from The Shelf in the Living Room following yesterday's splurge...

Penultimate episode of "The Recruit" enjoyed at lunchtime, along with homemade soup and a roll...

At 2, a visit to Mary...

Looking good...

A walk along the corridor to the cafe for coffee and some Rolos...

Her exploits adorn the walls at reception - of course, sadly, she cannot recall them having taken place...

In the cafe, I spent some time showing her family photos from our WhatsApp group and that certainly seemed to entertain her and lift her spirits a little...

This was one of her faves...

The walk back to her room...

Home at 3:30, ostensibly to record the podcast and get it out (which ought to have happened yesterday but, you know, I was busy)...

A problem on iTunes - so, restarting the computer...

Tried to watch Netflix in the back room...

TV non-responsive...

Tried to watch Prime in the back room...

TV non-responsive...

Pile o' shite...

iTunes problem remained - gave up and enjoyed prawn pasta for tea - super tasty...

The last "The Recruit" enjoyed (another hole left) - satisfactory conclusion but all seemed just a wee bit pat, the way it all fell into place...

Now it felt like a Sunday, even though it's Wednesday...

Back to the iTunes problem and, quite literally, hours spent trawling the internet trying to find a solution as to why, all of a sudden, it will not allow me to drag any songs anywhere...

Eventually, I chatted online with Apple and a call tomorrow morning at 8:15 has been scheduled...

Downstairs and some football highlights watched, which made it feel even more like a Sunday...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Mary enjoying the old pics on my phone...
