The majority of the morning was spent identifying the "best" renditions of all songs played by Capital Models post the 2011 reunion...
That, with a view to working on those songs, as I did with the 42 recorded last Sunday...
So, rather a large project...
Meanwhile...
No idea...
The back room...
The computer room...
Blurry...
Focussed..
On...
...and to work...
At 11:30, over to Balerno to pick up Malcolm and take him to his mum's - very nice to see her again, first time in decades - she's now 88 and a lot more spritely and with it than I'd been led to believe...
Malcolm's goal was for me to get photos of these pictures, which he wants to use for future release artwork re Crazy Wisdom...
His grandmother and great grandmother...
His mum, on the left, her sister and their mother...
A random scene from a reasonably posh bar...
On the way home, post veggie sausage on a roll for lunch, visits to the big BHF place at Niddrie - where a 10CD Bowie box was acquired for £5...
...and to Four Square, as I drove back to Crispycat Towers - the ten titles below (a further 32 discs across them) for just £4...
Whilst ripping, listening to 100 best jazz tunes of the fifties...
A very tasty tea tonight from Annie...
...was followed by episodes 1 & 2 of the latest series of "Unforgotten"...
The cold case detectives in it are rather smug and unlikeable...
Then, searching for art work...
Exeter City v Nottingham Forest seemed to be on the telly all night - 20 mins injury time and, then, extra time, at the end of which it was 2-2...
But Exeter collapsed in the penalty shoot out...
Oh well...
Ended the day with this banging in the cans...
...before Bowie in Tokyo accompanied me to bed...
Highlight of the Day : Meeting Malcolm's mum again...
