Up at 6 on our anniversary...
This was our wedding 1st dance...
Not sure what possessed me to do this as a teenage boy but, hmmm...
From this LP...
The beast was out at 7am...
...and back home shortly afterwards...
...anniversary items having been secured...
Breakfast - strawberry jam and eggs. That goes? Yep...
Cards opened...
The 100 LPs of 1968 are now down to 20 - however the Free record is actually from 1969 and, at the last moment was replaced by an (unpictured) Monkees LP...
This arrived. On first listen, it has been deemed hellish, as in, of Hell...
Off we went into town to Cote...
Lovely red wine...
Lovely surroundings...
Lovely starters...
Lovely mains...
Lovely sweets...
Unpictured lovely coffees..
Lovely company...
For the beast...
Afterwards, a constitutional down into Stockbridge which, rather predictably, resulted in some acquisitions...
An LP first bought in 1973, ten years before our wedding - nice to have again...
A bus up to Princes St and another home, where this was at the back door...
To ripping and listening...
...to the pile...
A long time since I've played this record...
..which turns out to have been the 15th LP I owned - these, in order, came into my collection in 1972 and 1973 - the first three gifted by my dad...
A good selection...
No tea required and a relaxing rest of the anniversary spent doing nothing much at home...
Which was good...
Highlight of the Day : Anniversary lunch...
