I've done it again - it's a week on from today when I'm finally getting round to writing this...

Here goes trying to catch up on a week...

Up at 6...

...and, of course, dark outside...

The beast behind the curtains...

Lights, music, action...

This is the initial selection for tonight's podcast recording...

...meanwhile the 1980 LPs were honed further to 60...

While I WFH'd, Anne was out in the garden - I took her a coffee...

Someoen on Twitter was listening to this - I knew I had it but couldn't find it on the hard drives - turns out it's one of the very many CD-Rs I have which I have not re-ripped back into the system...

I also worked on some new music for tonight's programme, creating a couple more Wagner mixes, seen here nestling on the phone next to the mixes I've done for Mr Spark which I am not yet allowed to reveal...

Late on, the line up for the show was amended considerably, as I trawled through new releases this week and downloaded new albums from Lana Del Rey, Brandt Brauer Frick, Pink Floyd, The Dear Hunter, The Pineapple Thief, Dream Theater, Duran Duran, John Coltrane and Grouper...

And so, a few things made their way back onto the ever increasing 35 hour, 400 strong, "waiting list"...

Meanwhile, spoiler alert. Here are all the albums released in 1980 that I actually bought in 1980.  All 5 of my top 5 1980 LPs were bought in 1980...

On Twitter, I put up a poll yesterday...

Which word describes taste in music. Remember that voting for one of these ( you know which!) precludes you from ever Tweeting about how one act is “better” than another…

a. Objective
b. Subjective

The results showed that almost half the people who voted on this poll, enjoy stating that their opinions are facts...

If you post music related polls asking "which of these is better", you should really ask "which of these is your favourite"...

Billions of flies like excrement. That doesn't make excrement any "better". It just shows that flies like it...

Fixed that for you...

Wait, do flies do polls?

The late evening was spent recording the podcast and watching TV with Annie Milannie...

Which is a good way to end a week...

Highlight of the Day : New music...
