Up late...

...after having been awake for some considerable time but listening to music as I snoozed...

Sometimes, when I walk into this room, I find it quite ludicrous...

Anyway, views...

Breakfast at home, in the space where Anne's WFH scenario usually is - we are on holiday so it's under the table for now...

Anne was off out to Zumba for the first time in a year and a half with Lynn - I had to deal with soem WFH issues...

Then...

Some work on my own "stuff"...

This included updating this and downloading the nine missing LPs from those, songs from which will hopefully be covered by Capital Models in Roslin at the end of November...

Giving this selection overall..

Anne and Lynn returned and we enjoyed coffee, cake and a good chat...

Then, more WFH and then, out to Penicuik, to meet up with said band's Stu Cobley to celebrate his birthday...

Actually, it was just us meeting for lunch as we're both on holiday and it coincided with his birthday...

I did give him a nice bag of CDs though...

Our mains of lasagna and fish & chips were unpictured...

Starters...

...and sweets recorded...

...and much good chat about the band and our guitaring and how we could improve things enjoyed along with the slap up feed...

Out, and a walk into the town..

...where some shopping was undertaken, three shops visited...

Shop one...

...shop two - nada...

Shop three...

Then, a secret short cut, Stu with bag of CDs in hand, me with CDs in hand...

Back to the car where our love in was recorded for posterity...

Drove home and the ripping and listening commenced...

...upon which I discovered a distinct lack of CDs in the hip hop box set...

Later tonight, some compiling, having consulted DJ nephew Andy re best 60's 70's content for a cheeky wee DJ set re the proposed gig...

...which resuted in two and a half hours or so of music taken from these items...

...after which it was time for bed...

Another good day...

Highlight of the Day : Lunch with Stu...
