Te massive playlist today was down to a decision to play all the shortest tracks in the library which the library was telling me had remained unplayed since at least September 2013...

Don't judge me...

Up...

Saturday...

Updating this, again - and finishing off and uploading the podcast...

The silver cat is one of the few listeners...

Maybe Anne will listen after I'm gone...

Saturday!!

And there was a record fair on!

But, I decided to eschew the opportunity to bring more unnecessary music into the house and instead, finish off the filing and rearranging of the previously brought into the house unnecessary music...

And so, the filing continued...

First, sorting the box sets by integrating all the records with "special" sleeves which, yesterday, I extracted from the boxes to make more space for new unnecessary music...

Done...

Then, to sorting out the classical and jazz...

I did not mention yesterday that one reason why every box was taken from the shelves was that I was rearranging the order - going all the way across the top and so on rather then each section containing 4 consecutive boxes - this makes it much easer to find things...

..but makes for a long laborious task - which, of course, includes integrating stuff required to be filed and, necessarily changing the CD covers on the front of each box as the content moves around...

Eventually though, done, dusted (literally - so much dust!)...

These soundtracked the work...

...as did this...

Looking through my books, I took this out - this is the book that led to me writing my own songs...

I hada quick go at them and decided that the follwoing are so easy you could learn this Beatles set in a day...

Across the Universe
All My Loving
All You Need Is Love
And I Love Her
The Ballad of John and Yoko
Can't Buy Me Love
Eight Days a Week
Eleanor Rigby
Hello, Goodbye
Hey Jude
Get Back
Lady Madonna
Let It Be
Nowhere Man
Paperback Writer
Penny Lane
Revolution
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Strawberry Fields Forever
Ticket to Ride
We Can Work It Out
With a Little Help From My Friends
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away

In the past, I have played seven of these in various formats and, indeed, most of them formed the setlists of the "gigs me and sister Pam used to perform in our back garden to the neighbourhood kids...

Oh well...

By the time I'd finished the filing, the sun was disappearing...

...and three squirrels were mucking about in the garden - can you spot them all?

Tonight, "Strictly" started yet again...

We both watched - but I did not listen...

A good Saturday - even though I did not venture forth,...

Highlight of the Day : Filing...
