A small playlist, for, today, was a day out...

It still started early though as, as ever, there was "stuff" to do...

This wee chum was spotted as I left the house to do my mum's shopping...

Our new sign was looking good, even in the rain...

A visit to my my mum and home and changed and out and over to Jane and Bob's, where Rafa sat beside me...

A taxi with Jane, Bob, Mary, Olly and Kitty...

To The Shore at Leith for a slap up family meal courtesy of Keith and Maureen who recently both retired from the NHS and wanted to celebrate that, plus various other things which, over the course of the last year and a half, have had to be missed as regards big celebrations...

The Shore is the very place where we celebrated their wedding back in 2008...

It was yumtastic....

Out into the sun around 4:30, a little the worse for wear...

...for more drinks just along the road, making for an even worse worse for wear scenario...

We left around 7:20...

A bus up to Princes Street...

,,,and another home...

...where I immediately fell asleep,...

Not the best end to the day but a very good day indeed...

And so, holiday officially over...
