Up reasonably late...

...and working before holidaying...

Views...

Breakfast at home and, then, down the hill, for a bus at 9:45 through the rain...

...including a previously unknown stop...

...but in just under an hour, we were in that Glasgow...

We split up to go to places we like - this, while indicative of that Glasgow, is not particularly liked...

This though, used to be, Tower Records, as was...

But, these days, a few meters away, is Missing Records...

I only had time to go through their £1 / 3 for £2 offerings but would return later in the day...

I picked up these...

...for £4, before meeting back up with Anne and taking the Clockwork Orange over to Byres Road...

A short walk took us over the Kelvin...

...to Olly's new flat for this year at Uni...

Looking up...

Looking down...

Looking out...

Looking around...

The boy's room...

Where it probably all happens, cooking wise...

The hall one way...

...and the other...

A brief chat with one his four flatmates, Hamish and then, out for lunch...

Over the road to Lois Cafe...

...for some yumtastic tastiness...

Olly caught me..

...taking this...

Coffees also enjoyed...

Then, with Olly getting set to work later on, we headed back to Byre's Rd for a wee look around, these found at the Red Cross...

This Australian release is mostly live and previously unknown by this Mott fan...

...while the bonus track on this justified £2 for a record I already had....

At Oxfam, this was eschewed...

Back to the town centre and Missing again - where all of these £2/ 3 for £5 were trawled through...

...resulting in these purchases...

Then, met back up with Anne, she having bought things she likes, and a walk along to the East End and Mono, where the last two purchases of the day were made...

Turns out I have this 50p bargain already...

The £2 funk disc made up for the faux pas though...

To nearby Avant Garde for drinks and a sit down...

...before looking for a nice burger place - the first was all booked up so, we walked towards Central Station...

...to Ad Lib, where we'd enjoyed good times a couple of years back with Olly and Bob...

It did not disappoint...

We were back at the bus station at 7 and...

...today's haul was inspected...

We caught the 7:30 bus home...

..and walked back up the hill, before the ripping and listening ensued...

It's what holidays are for...

Highlight of the Day : Visiting Olly...
