...before the sun was over the opposite roof...
We are on holiday for two weeks and so the table has been cleared of Anne's WFH paraphernalia...
Out for my mum's shopping...
...and home to a good breakfast...
...there will be no lunch today...
Some "work" undertaken in the interim, including the starting of a new song; and some telly watched...
Then, to my mum's for 3:30...
Postponed from last week was her birthday meal - she herself chose the local Indian Restaurant, Radhuni...
For the first time since 2018, she was able to take part by not being ill on or around her birthday...
Waiting outside, Ali, Julie...

Harris had fishcakes and chips...
...while we waited for the "grown up" food...
...upon which's arrival, the rest of us enjoyed a veritable feast...
Mum had her usual "that's not a curry is it?" Chicken Korma, after enjoying a few of the "very large crisps" and an onion bhajee...
There was debris...
..and there was mucking about with the wee man...
..including his fascination with the water feature in the outside dining area...
The beast even had a shot of holding the small child...
A good afternoon/early evening indeed...
Took mum home and had more chat with sister Sheila before heading home...
"Vigil" was the tally highlight of the evening...

Highlight of the Day : Mum's birthday bash...
