Up...

Good skies...

Teddy holding back the tide of books...

Shopping for my mum - intending to show her why real crisps are better value than the awful "Pom Bears" she insists on eating...

Home and listening to 1973...

This is one of two copies I have of my fave LP of all time - this, the one I bought on release...

The cards remain intact...

The billion dollar bill is in the "wallet"...

Of course, unless you take the cards out of the cover, you cannot read the credits...

Another fave spun - pound for pound, this is probably my favourite Bowie LP, despite not being as ground breaking as "Low" or "Heroes" both of which were probably more of an influence on me...

I lined up another couple of my top 5 which I still have on vinyl but did not get round to Fripp & Eno...

Downstairs, sampling a CD from the shelf, chosen at random - the EP seemed to like it...

On e-bay, this was found...

I may have a copy (or even the original master) in the attic...

I was chuffed to see it's "worth" 12 x what they are asking for an Ultravox cassette...

Out to my mum's and, as promised last week, I cooked her a steak with mushrooms and onions...

Not sure if she liked her snowball more...

On the way home, stopped by the Garden Centre for some stones for Anne...

Back home, a visit from Fang...

...followed by a tasty baked potato for tea...

...and the next episode of "Line of Duty"...

Weekend over...

Highlight of the Day : Successful cook and an old cassette...
