Started the day recording the podcast content...

I only managed to record the first third last night, so the rest awaited me this morning...

Meanwhile the upload of “Sparklemusik” also continued - a mammoth task...

...and so, as is usually the case on a Saturday morning...

...the beast was up and about, early doors...

...under good skies...

...which remained good, an hour and twenty minutes later...

Finally, the podcast was finished...

The beast was happy...

Later, it was off round to Jane and Bob's for a wee gaet togeterh for nephew Olly's 20yth birthday, which occured on Thursday but he was in Glasgow - at that Glasgow University...

Today, however, her was home...

There was cake and there were scones containing cheese and chilies...

Niece Kitty as also there, looking all grown up...

...and in charge of candle lighting...

Olly's two grannies looked on as he did the candle honours...

Great auntie Rae was also round...

...and chat, cake eating and coffee drinking ensued...

Rafa too was in attendance, recovering nicely still from his recent leg operation - over the worst of it now but probably still a coupe of weeks until he will be allowed outside...

Olly and Granny Mary...

A young boy was enjoying his birthday celebrations...

Back home later, a visit from Fang...

...and into the attic to break down the equipment in preparation for tomorrow's rehearsal with the band, our first for almost 14 months...

Ready...

Fang chose to stay and got friendly with the Exec Producer...

...before taking up one his favourite perches...

Also today, my whittling down of 1997 LPs continued down to 50...

Meanwhile, Fang's name kind of rhymed with the music to which we were listening...

...which was followed by, in honour of tomorrow's upcoming playing, Capital Models original album from 1980...

Also this evening, it was nice to see that Nashville chum and fellow Rheostatics fan Chris Schappert, was listening to me...

It's always good to know that someone, somewhere is listening to CBQ...

Always...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Olly's Birthday, albeit two days late...
