Up late...
...and making a start on updating this for the last week and a half...
Never a good idea to get behind...
At 9 or so, post breakfast, out shopping with Anne, me for my mum, Anne for us...
Back home, the very sunny day outside made it difficult to capture the two squirrels, large pigeon, robin and blue tit, all of whom were partaking at the feeding station...
Anne's new painting still awaited its start...

A 60’s fave....
Remastered and expanded (like a prog rock album!) for its 50th, back in 2015....
Sounds much better than the free with a paper version I have and which I span on Friday night after watching the film for the first time in decades...
After said spinning, in a sentimental weak moment this was ordered...
The original LP was probably my most listened to record of the 1960’s...
Sales-wise, it seems it did actually eclipse The Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, Monkees and Motown...
Ah the sixties music scene...
It is the subject of much rewriting of history it seems...
To my mum's for lunch, followed by (Decaffeinated) coffee and hot cross buns (tea for Anne of course)...
Back home, I listened to the new arrival whilst reading up on the Austrian Anschluss...
A tasty Sunday tea from Anne - schnitzel - as mentioned in "My Favourite Things" - but with salad rather than noodles...
Later on this evening, following a couple of "Modern Family" episodes and some early evening listening to new stuff downloaded today - new prog and old jazz fusion prog from Italy - whilst getting this right up to date at last (apart form a couple of days still outstanding re last September's Bavarian trip) - the 3rd in "Line of Duty" series 6...
Supergood and back to its best...
