The view from the office this morning, with Anne off to work and me waiting on the guests surfacing...

A long, leisurely breakfast and then, some relaxing, before we headed for the airport, leaving just after 10...

...and, once at the bottom of the hill, straight onto the airport bus - on which my old person's bus pass works...

No pics of our chums from the front, so here are two of the best from our walk on Saturday morning...

I left them at the airport (their flight left bang on time, they landed in Dusseldorf  just before 2:30, our time, and were home in Hessen just after seven, after a long, long day)...

Meanwhile, I took the bus back to Corstorphne, picked these up for a quid each...

...along with a DVD of the actor Kevin Eldon...

...and made my way back home for some tidying and general pottering about...

...and bringing this up to date...

In the evening the first of our three concoctions bought at Stockbridge market on Sunday was a success - and much of the night was spent catching up on comedy shows, followed by some music listening and Holby...

My 60th birthday is now, officially, over...

Into the future...

Highlight of the Day :Jorg and Manuela home safely...
