A big lunch out today, as chum Kris-with-a-K was back for a visit from Singapore, with wife Monica and twins Stella and Harris, not in attendance re the lunch and, hence, unpictured...

Also in attendance Ali, Gillian, Gina, Double D, Wenders, Gaz, Bernardo, CK, Matty, The G Man, Baz, Spike, Julio, Luke, Raymondo, Big Al and Jack...

The venue was Fazenda, a Brazilian restaurant, reasonably new to Edinburgh and there was much provision of many tasty treats...

Coincidentally, chum Gina afforded Anne and I a voucher for this very restaurant re my recent birthday, so I was viewing this as a scouting mission...

My report back was very positive...

I eschewed the chance to stay out all afternoon a-drinking and carousing and so, was home at my normal time, not the worse for wear...

This was waiting behind the door, a gift from Toronto based musicking Twitter chum, Duke Gray, aka Oddsfiche...

Impressive improvising from Canaydayaydia...

An invite from Mr Scott Renton to play a couple of Neil Young songs at a tribute night on 7 June arose via the book of face...

I therefore rehearsed four songs, from which my two will be taken - this brings to seven, the number of Neil Young songs I "know"...

If possible, I will record an EP prior to the night...

Why not...

Later, some searching took place as to what I might listen to...

...in my snazzy trousers...

This was the result...

...which took me up to "Holby City" which is stretching our loyalty to the limit right now with its preposterous story lines...

Not to worry...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Return of an old chum...
