Awoken at around 5:30 by miaowing at the bedroom door..

We'd forgotten Fang was in the house when we'd gone to bed last night...

He'd broken into the supply of cat treats in the kitchen...

I opened the front window but he declined to leave...

When I went through to the dining room, he ran to the back door - so I let him out that way...

Then, to the kitchen to make some coffee...

Tiger appeared at my feet - I'd forgotten I'd opened the living room window...

What a pair...

To work this morning, commencing the upload of 40 years of music to Bandcamp re the upcoming retrospective collection, "Rubinmusik 1977-2017"...

A break around 9 as we headed to the gym...

5 miles cycled, 100 leg presses, 100 shoulder pull things and a mile on the cross trainer...

That'll do...

Out to my mum's...

Her house remains like a jungle despite her heating settings having been "fixed" by an "electrician"...

She'd called them in because the timer re her off peak heating wasn't working...

They opined they could not touch the timer as it belongs to Scottish Power...

They should have said that when she called them...

But, as they were there, they twiddled some knobs on her radiators and charged her £50...

Other than that, took mobile versions of the blog entries re our trip which she enjoyed scrolling through on the laptop...

Then to Anne's mum's and "fixed" two TVs...

Elderly ladies and remote controls do not mix...

A complaint of "no sound" turned out to be due to satellite box volume having been put to zero...

On to Keith and Maureen's for tea...

...including Keith's famous Lemon Posset and my almost destroying their Sonos set up...

Back home and as soon as we arrived, Tiger was there...

The new duck watched him enter by the back door...

Later on, he was to be found sleeping on the sofa...

Don't these cats ever spend time in their own house?

Under a quarter of the task completed thus far...

Late on, looking through my photos on this date/Sunday since 2005, I noted some anniversaries this weekend...

1 year since The Tubes in Glasgow and Jorg and Ansem arriving...

2 years (this Sunday) since I was admitted to hospital re my gangrenous gall bladder...

6 years (this Sunday) since sister Pam went into hospital never to come back home...

12 years since John of Impossible Songs' 50th birthday party...

Highlight of the Day :  The gym (kidding) - moving forward...
