The lovely wee eggs we sourced on yesterday's trip were expertly poached by the Exec Producer this morning...
...before we set off for Harrogate...
The weather was a bit dull, but dry so far...
A photographic exhibition was taken in...
...and we wandered down to the Montpellier district for a mooch around...
Back into town and a tasty CD of viola concertos picked up at BHF for £2...
Into Scandinavian cafe Baltzersen's for some coffee and cake...
As the rain started and our parking ran out, we headed for nearby Ripley, soundtracked by the viola disc...
...and its, unfortunately closed, castle...
Not to worry, a visit to the nearby church instead...
...then, over the road...
...to the Ripley Store...
...where tasty pies were secured for lunch back home...
...where a fire was set up...
...and said pies were enjoyed...
A couple of hours later, with the fire out and having watched the Isabelle Huppert movie "Sea Wall"...
....it was round to the Red Lion for one last time...
...for drinks...
...and tasty fayre...
...before heading back home...
A somewhat quieter day than usual...
But still good...
Highlight of the Day : Ripley for some reason...
