Another day of many pictures and, with the sun out first thing, the Exec Producer was a happy bunny...

No new provisions this morning as the lovely German bread sufficed...

...and the sun was beating down...

Out into the heat...

A protest march on our way into town...

...by the workers of the Deutsche Post...

We'd noticed this a couple of days ago on a "Theatre Boat"...

Trousers down...

Sculpture also noted...

...and more pics of  the old town...

And then, another record shop discovered - Hot Shot...

Full to the brim of interesting music...

A purchase was made...

The nearby flower market was enjoyed...

The quartet once more...

Back to the market for lunch...

This is Knipp, a Bremen speciality which looks like haggis but tastes quite different...

We enjoyed ice cream whilst sitting in the shade of the arcade in front of the Town Hall...

...watching the world go by...

Not only your correspondent was recording the scene...

Down to the Schlachte by the riverside for some further refreshment...

...in preparation for our tour of the Beck's brewery, over the river...

...and a look at today's purchase - one time Yello member, Carlos Peron...

Perhaps I rose too early again...

We continued over the river...

Seeing this man for the third or so time around town on his strange bike, which he rides sideways...

Into the brewery...

We were given hi-res jackets...

This crate of beer "starred" in the film "Das Boot"...

Back to the main building...

...for a tasting session...

...which was much enjoyed...

Haake is a brew which is only sold in Bremen and its environs...

...and this, Haake Beck Kräusen, was my favourite of the day...

After a couple of hours, we made our way outside, past a display which included Gold Medals earned for becks within a few years of its being founded...

...and all the beers around the world which its now parent company, Anheuser-Busch, now owns...

We were a little the worse for wear...

...as we made our way home...

Coffee on the balcony...

...where yesterday's wee chum reappeared...

In the evening, we made our way back to the Schnoor...

...to the Concord House for dinner...

Traditional German cuisine...

...and home as the sun was setting...

Back to Yorckstrasse for our last night...

...in our temporary home...

Highlight of the Day : Brewery tour...
