Today's selected listening...

I could record a podcast but then, who'd listen...

The Mannheim school accompanied breakfast...

This music was like the punk rock of its time (mid 1700's) going against all the then conventions...

Then, three box sets covering the next three hundred years of classical music...

I sampled Liszt, Berwald, Handel, Orff, Mozart, Johan Strauss Snr, Haydn and Couperin...

Also today, the weird and wonderful soundscapes of Jacaszek, picked up on our recent Dutch trip and the last of the Blue Note arrivals, which popped through the letter box three days late, a best of by trumpeter Lee Morgan who "defined the hard bop era of jazz like no other" according to the liner notes...

Of course, CDs aren't as important to some as they are to others...

As mentioned above, this in the post today - my 21st Lee Morgan CD...

On telly, Thursday is a good night "Big Bang" ended, "New Girl" started, "Person of Interest" restarted and "Two Broke Girls" continued...

Later on, we sampled "Question Time" (Alex Salmond arguing to stay in a Union is always funny) - and "This Week",which, unlike "Question Time", featured no economic illiterates tonight...

That's it...

Highlight of the Day : Music...
