Some considerable time today spent compiling a combined top prog LPs list from the recent top 100 from Prog Magazine and top 50 from Rolling Stone...
And then compiling 8 chronological playlists tracking the course of the genre from 1967 to 2013...
This is how I waste my time...

Out for brunch...
...and then some walking - firstly to the Grassmarket...
...and Redd Dog Music for a look at stuff...
...then, on to the stalls in the main area...
...including two selling music...
Up Victoria Street to the library to hand back borrowings from a fortnight ago...
Back out with a box of Roberta Flack in my bag...
...and over the Royal Mile...
...and down the Mound...
...and along Rose St, spotting this monkey on the way,,,
...to a record fair in Charlotte Square, where two classical discs were procured...
...meeting Anne back at the car, she having availed herself of a collection of footwear...
Home, and the garden was looking good...
...including a camera dodging bee...
...and lurking spider...
...gotcha...
Some ripping of borrowings and acquisitions...
Top notch soul...
Dreadful sound on this - for collectors only...
Were it not for the presence of "Sweet Jane" and "Rock'n'Roll" on "Loaded", this original member-less management stitch up follow up would almost be as good...
Television's "difficult" second album - which I used to own on Red Vinyl, till adding it to the Reptile Records stock, from where unknown to me then but future Creek buddy, Stu Cobley purchased it...
Some questionable noises from the pen of Mr Crumb- second half better than the first...
..and a Joanna MacGregor disc of very good goodness indeed...
Probably too many "The Goldbergs" were watched as was the return of "Person of Interest", which has lost a major character so she could work on a less good show about a record label...
More prog rock podcast recording and uploading continued into the night...
Highlight of the Day : Wandering around town...
