Up and working on finalising and uploading the last three playlists, having fallen behind over the past couple of weeks due to (a) being on holiday in Berlin and (b) successfully in many cases it seems, explaining the economic implications of the flawed argument for independence as set out in the Scottish Government's White Paper...

I have very much enjoyed (a) but not so much (b)...

A text from Dr Prog this morning suggested a hook up at the music library...

Both the Exec Producer and Mr CBQ accepted the invitation and drove over to the Saturday place before walking back, past the University...

...to the new, rather more swanky, premises of the Music Library...

..where Dr Prog took out rather a large haul of CDs and books while I was tempted by just one disc (at the strange borrowing fee of 62 of your English New Pence), suites for Viola da Gamba by Conrad Hoeffler, who lived and composed, in the 17th Century...

Anne and I having gone without breakfast, we made our way to the Turkish place at Greyfriars and ordered - I went for the healthy muesli option - having noted first thing that, on the so-caled Ritter Chocolate Diet as described here in an earlier post, two squares of chocolate were able to be consumed later on this afternoon...

The Coke is the Doc's...

..and he also enjoyed a rather excellent looking slice of apple toffee cake for afters...

Good chat and good laughs...

After bidding him farewell as he headed to Tollcross on some undisclosed errand, we walked back to the car, Anne coveting this bike - which I think may be a breach of one of the Ten Commandments...

To Anne's mum's to fix her DVD - finding it had already been fixed - and for the two ladies to prep for what turned out to be a thumping 5-1 win for Hearts over Cowdenbeath - elsewhere Queens beat Hearts' arch rivals Hibernian 1-0 in Dumfries...

Meanwhile, back home, I recorded and posted up this week's playlist, the thirty eighth in the series and, sadly, noted comments on Social Media regarding the outcome of the referendum - much raging going on by those who seem unable to accept their defeat by the Quiet Majority graciously...

In the evening, "Dr Who" was, of course, a highlight, as was the discovery of new to me ambient duo Hammock, who will no doubt feature in Playlist 39 next Saturday...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Out and about with Dr Prog...
