Elsewhere, contact from my mum mid afternoon advised strange phone calls from"an American" asking for me - it was our accommodation people trying to sort out the Berlin debacle where we ended up a 40 minute train ride from our chosen destination - turns out I must have inadvertently given them my mum's home number instead of mine - of course she probably thought it was more of those fraudsters trying to steal all her money...
Very nearly sorted to our satisfaction...
