Up early and, after a sleepless night, a good breakfast then out for a walk...

...looking for music, having researched shops pre trip...

This one was not open and there was no sign of a designated time when it might be...

On, past this plaque to the work was purchased yesterday...

...and into Wicklow Street...

...to the strangely still open and possibly now completely independent, Tower Records...

Masses of CDs and vinyl (why do people still buy vinyl when albums are either digitally recorded or mastered?)...

...and a great classical selection, including much "contemporary" stuff...

Three items purchased, two 3CD sets by Klaus Schulze and a 6CD box of a 6 hour work by Danish electronic composer Gunnar Moller Pedersen..

Back out...

...and further walking...

...including more Joyce related nonsense...

Back to Temple Bar...

..and some work elsewhere in the city before heading back to the airport by taxi, accompanied by chum Scott...

These from the chatty driver's window...

To the terminal...

...for a ten to four flight - Scott's was not till ten to eight...

He tried to secure a ticket for my flight but was asked for a fare around ten times the amount shown on my ticket...

Consequently, through to the gate solo...

...for a propeller driven, turbulent flight...

...over the Irish Sea...

..and the Scottish Lowlands...

...and home...

Buses back to Crispycat Towers and then taking Meg the Black Cat round to Castle Brodski for Alan and Penny to enjoy her company while the Exec Producer and I swan around London for the next four days...

Too much time spent ripping the new purchases to allow them to be taken along tomorrow, resulted in  a later than ideal hitting of the sack...

Highlight of the Day : Tower Records...
