Up at 5:30 and, from 5:41...

...till 8:49...

...while listening to the full track versions of the first four pieces on the forthcoming CBQ album (which also took three hours)...

...I updated the Crispycat website, the CBQ Bandcamp page and the various individual CBQ song-based album blogs to reflect the new "no physical", "name your price" CBQ scenario...

At 10:30 out and driving to town to meet up with Dr Prog at the library at 11...

Borrowed the last Fiona Apple album, which has been on the radar for a while, and a 2 disc set by Swedish avante garde jazzers, The Thing...

Lunch included tasty cakes at Patisserie Valerie...

...along with much chat about Rush, Yes and prog rock in general...

Of course an extra cake was carried home for the Exec Producer...

Nothing for The Pie though...

Said chocolate éclair was much enjoyed by Anne with coffee as we watched the recent BBC4 documentary "Remembering Lou Reed" which, amongst others, included contributions from Bob Ezrin and Steve Hunter...

Very moving indeed...

At 15:40, ten hours into my day...

...while Anne enjoyed the latest in a long line of adaptations of "Jane Eyre", I was back at the computer ripping and listening - especially enjoying Lou Reed's personally compiled and remixed collection "New York Man" and investigating possible prog/music related trips I might make with Dr Prog...

Also did some research into the jazz trio Trio Elf, by whom a disc had been swithered about at the library...

A good discovery...

In the evening, home made soup accompanied the first two episodes in the second series of Scandinavian detective series, "The Bridge"...

A BBC4 documentary on British Rock'n'Roll was fallen asleep to, before finally hitting the sack just before 12...

Highlight of the Day : The Bridge is back...
