...a diverting visit to Fopp at lunchtime resulted in seven of your English pounds being transferred from my pocket to their till in exchange for discs by Aberdeen outfit The Douglas Firs, ex-King Crimson drummer Ian Wallace and XTC's debut, considered in 1978 to be New Wave but, in reality, speeded up Prog Rock...
The leaves are disappearing fast from trees I used just a few days ago to illustrate the onset of Autumn...
Once again, the Cathedral was occupied as I passed on the way home...
A cheering Indian was collected from nearby Abida and some unchallenging and entertaining telly was kind of enjoyed - as were the new purchases on the nut-phones...
I received so many e-mails of love and support and best wishes for Pam today - even from people I've never had contact with before, I spent much of the day in correspondence with all her well-wishers...
I have never known such a beloved person...
Although this has not been the best year of her life, I've put together this collage to show just what she's had to go through...
Click on it, enlargen it, and wonder at Pam's strength and positivity in the face of such overwhelming adversity...
After twelve months of hell, she is still smiling - sister Sheila called last night to report her first "good" visit since Pam as admitted almost four weeks ago...
Sheila, brother-in-law Andrew and my mum spent a couple of hours with Pam, enjoying a Chinese Takeaway which was apparently wolfed down - ha! just like the old days...
Difficult, difficult times but we are all richer for having Pam in our lives and, right now, she is still there...

The collage is a lovely piece of work, Pam's personality just glows in many of the photos. As you say, she's still in there.
