This evening to see Pam for the first time since Friday and she was (obviously relatively speaking) not bad...

Halfway through our visit, nephew Andy and partner Tori arrived - Pam was delighted to see some new faces and attempted sentences were attempted to Andy - she has not uttered a word to me for a few visits now, other than yes or no...

I always dread going in, in case she is really bad but she always seems to confound me...

She is very ill obviously but she maintains her sense of humour her laugh and her smile...

Bidding farewell to Pam and then, in the car park, to Andy and Tori, I took Anne home and then drove to Out of the Bedroom to meet up with Ian Sclater and Kat McKenzie...

We are playing an invitation-only house concert on Friday 2 December and were formulating the format and agreeing on when we might rehearse together - one of the three sets we will play as a trio...

So it's off to Kat's on Sunday to start a new musical project...

Home to Annie just after ten, some TV then to bed...
