Up at seven and to the PC, downloading the latest jazzy sounds made available to the world by Destination Out, a new to me excellent sax player, Bunky Green and, to celebrate Ornette Coleman’s recent 81st birthday, a selection of rare recordings by this jazz master...

Then, from the sublime to the ridiculous, some listening to my own stuff - partly in preparation for the next Capital Models get together on Tuesday...

A late outing into town, leaving around Midday - Anne was off to see Hearts come from behind twice against St Mirren to win 3-2 with an injury time goal...

Parked and walked to the library...

...where I handed back last time's haul and borrowed a 5CD box by Charlie Haden, a 2-on1 CD by Grachan Moncur III and an album by Sam Baker, whom we saw a couple of years back supporting Dar Williams or Lucy Kaplansky...

A trawl round the usual haunts produced no further purchases...

Back home to watch the scores on the video printer - like Hearts, Queens came from behind to win - 2-1 away at Ross County in a dress rehearsal for the upcoming long postponed Cup Final...

In the evening, we drove over to Dunfermline for a very enjoyable night out with Chris, Ferret, Vicky, Kerry and Angie which involved drinks at The Seven Kings...

...a very tasty indian at Kushi's, accompanied by probably too much red wine for Mr Ferret...

...a walk through the Newcastle-like streets of drunken men and scantily clad women (not our chums though) of the late night erstwhile capital of Scotland...

...under spooky skies...

...to another bar for more drinks...

...by this time Chris seemed to be a bit tired of the paparazzi...

To the car park around midnight...

...and home by 12:30, where the Perigree Moon was looking good...

..although, by the time I got back outside with the "big" camera, it was behind a huge cloud...

"Harry Hill's TV Burp" ended the day...

Highlight of the Day : A very tasty curry...
