An e-mail this morning from Pure Bear Paul alerts me to the Finnish Prog-Metal band, Tarot...

I gave him requested news of sister Pam and of Capital Models, being as he is aboard a ship in the middle of the North Sea with no access to this...

Another grey, rainy day...

At lunchtime to HMV and noted the Callas Box is still there for just thirty quid (RRP £275 or something outrageous)...

A bunch of CDs gifted to me by chum Spike because he has them on his I-Pod – who am I to argue...

Later on, I returned to FOPP and partook of two recordings – a 3CD Ian Hunter/Mott the Hoople Anthology (because I don’t have enough Mott?) and a 2CD live set from Bowie’s last tour (ditto)...

Back home and the latest of a recent flurry of cheap purchases from e-bay had arrived – John Adams' 9/11 piece “On the Transmigration of Souls”...

Around teatime, a call from sister Pam advised she will shortly be taking delivery of a wig...

Pics are promised...

Post a Tivo’d "CSI", as Annie watched “Masterchef”, an evening of ripping and listening ensued...

...including a download and impressive debut in my ears of Tarot...

Highlight of the Day : New and old music...
