Up at seven and updating this...

Takes a lot longer on Pam's laptop but better than waiting till we get back to Crispycat Towers and having to do it all at once...

Pam's new regime, kind of healthy, fridge was pictured...

..and, once the ladies emerged, the juicer was put into action...

Not quite so healthy was our breakfast/lunch aka brunch...

A lovely day...

Around midday, we were setting off for the town centre to carry out some errands and have a look round the shops, to be soundtracked by some Glam Rock...

...when a text came in from chum Suzanne to advise she and her younger daughter, Megan, were on their way for a visit...

Megan is a wee sweetie...

An hour or so later, as we left again, she followed me round the long way to the car...

To Hemel - and the multi storey carpark afforded a view which Pam opined wasn't the best...

The "scenic" lift took us to ground level and the shopping began...

Having not been "down the town" for some considerable time, what most would take for granted was a bit of an event for Pam...

Your correspondent once again partook of a charity shop CD, or rather, double CD - Bach's Adagios for just one of your English pounds...

For Scottish readers, the charity has a bit of a comedy name...

Elsewhere other stuff was purchased, including new reading glasses (you can never have too many pairs)...

A strange event at HMV, as both Pam and Anne emerged clutching purchases (film rather than music), whilst your correspondent shelled out for nothing, despite an extensive search...

Back home and a visit from chum Julie and her lovely daughter Annie - just back from a ballet exam...

Coffee and biscuits having been consumed and visitors having departed, the ladies watched Wales defeat Ireland at rugby, whilst I surfed the net, Pam's laptop burning my thighs...

An indian takeaway was ordered and collected and the evening spent relaxing in front of the telly watching "Let's Dance for Comic Relief" and the "40 Greatest Dance Crazes" (which seemed to just be the most popular dance routines from videos, given a lack of mention of The Twist, The Mashed Potato or even The Waltz)...

Pam retired around number 12 in the countdown while Anne and I waited till the bitter end to find that Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was number 1...

You will understand from that, that this programme was not about dance crazes...

Not to worry...

Another good day...

Highlight of the Day : Busy doing nothing...
