Mussels steamed in cream, bacon and pinenut, followed by ribeye steak with sweet potato and chili mayo, sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice-cream for me, while Anne enjoyed scallops, steak and frites and a beautiful lemon tart...

All rounded off with a lovely bottle of Chilean red...
