...and Manzanera Mackay - the goodness of which surprised me, sending me back to the relevant studio LP, which I'd previously ignored...
Surfing...
Diary writing...
Listening to Top 60 thus far...
Breakfast...
Anne off for hair cut...
While Anne was out, I wasn't feeling up to doing anything so ended up watching the first 5.5 episodes of a German thing called "Dudes" - entertaining...
Last of the home made soup for a solo lunch...
An e-mail from the British Library Sound Archive "We were in touch years ago about archiving your work at the British Library. You were interested but it didn't happen at the time, I'm not sure why. I wanted to ask if you would be happy for me to go ahead and archive them"...
To which the response was "Yes"...
So now, all my CBQ music currently available on Bandcamp will be available too from the British Library Sound Archive, in Euston Rd in that London......
Also this afternoon, the ordered yesterday power unit for my Boss RC-20XL Loop Station arrived and I fired it up...
Amazingly, the only loops I ever did on it (in August 2005 when I got it) are still in its memory...
I decided to update the LP from which came out of those loops with the remasters and extra tracks I did back in August, so I uploaded that all to Bandcamp and let the people who own the original know of the changes...
I also put a note round my followers and, surprisingly got quite a bit of interest in terms of plays, downloads and even purchases...
Which was nice...
Also listening to "Cobalt", due next May and my version of "Thursday Afternoon"...
Eno's original was the first CD I bought, 40 years ago now...
Here it is, from back when I only had one CD...
...and I had to buy this to play it on...
The Fisher AD 800 - made by Sanyo...
A nostalgic picture indeed...
Nice new hair...
By this time, we were both feeling pretty bad...
The real "Thursday Afternoon" continued to soundtrack some relaxation...
A couple of "FBI" accompanied bacon rolls for tea, there being nothing else in the house...
Then a Hotel Costiera...
Then "All Creatures Great and Small" - nothing in my eye tonight...
And "Materialisation" played - due out in March...
Closed the day with some newly downloaded things...
To bed reasonably early due to, yep, the lurgi...
Highlight of the Day : Anniversary of CD buying...

Hope your lurgi shifts soon, my Covid cleared by the weekend but I'm still not quite back to normal (?). Recovery takes longer once you hit a certain age.
Very true JB!
