Thursday and a day of waiting around and crossing the city by car and by bus...

I'd lost confidence in yesterday's titles...
I mixed it all again, cutting back on the amount of SW radio (and may do so further) and now increasing the number of individual tracks to 10 from 5 - although the overall length is around the same...
The pieces are, for the time being, Pts I-X and the record is "Untitled"...
Sent it to Edward Spark later on for a listen and received positive feedback, which buoyed in a day of waiting...
At 7:30, with all of the above done and dusted, I set off over to Arnold Clark - a 35 minute drive...
Breakfast in Portobello...
...and an over an hour long bus journey home, noting for posterity a situation which the Exec Producer has e-mailed people to sort out...
And now, the wait...
BlueSky chum Andy Long was playing this, which I reckoned I had - so he said "find it and play it" - and so, I did...
Then, I played a few other things...
Lunch and some TV - "Sister Boniface" and waiting for the call...
Eventually, I set off back to the garage at 3...
...arriving at 4:25...
Nicely serviced but they reckoned the strange noise from the gearbox when moving out of 2nd, 4th and 6th gears was merely the surround and that all cars made that noise?!?!?
Which is just such utter and complete shite...
Who sells cars with strange annoying popping noises?
Anyway, fuck them - I'll just play my music louder while driving...
That plus the never ending door slamming and so, so noisy children shouting and screaming from next door do my head in...
A 35 minute drive home to relax...
We awaited electrician Matthew, due around 5:30, 6 - eventually arriving around 7:30 but making swift work of the three jobs we had lined up for him re Anne's renovation project...
Fixing the light switch in the attic, adding a socket in our bedroom and a socket in the living room...
