Filling my head with rock and my belly with sausages...

Playlist

Up pre 7 and, as ever, listening to music and writing this up...

Scenes...

Breakfast time...

An "FBI" then, cancelling forgotten insurance on my mum's house...

...then, listening to a couple of old LPs...

This, bought in Lincoln a couple of years back now...

...and this, first bought in the summer of 1973 and an introduction to loads of artists at the time...

These days, I have two copies, having found them shortly after one another back in 2021, prior to which I relied on a digital recreation...

This last soundtracked our drive to Anne's mum's for a visit this morning...

She currently has a couple of infections and, as a result, is not too great right now...

...but she seemed to enjoy watching the gardeners while having a coffee and a biscuit...

Then, to Lidl and Sainsburys for shopping...

...and home, where old grapes were gifted to the squirrels and birds...

Lunchtime...

Bratwursts, bought last week, were air fried...

..and enjoyed on crispy rolls with gherkins and German mustard...

Yowsah!

...along with a "Sister Boniface" mystery...

This afternoon, after 52 years, I finally brought the 12 to this day missing LPs, from which tracks on "Fill Your Head With Rock" were taken, into the collection - and decided to compile "Fill Your Head With Rock II", choosing alternative tracks from each of the 23 LPs involved...

The guy who originally compiled it was an A&R from CBS - who went on to be Managing Director at Pete Waterman's PWL company...

Anyway, by teatime, done and listening back...

If you would like a digital copy, just leave a comment below or e-mail me...

Tasty Thai Fishcakes for tea were followed by Germany's hard fought 1-0 win against Northern Ireland...

Then, the final three episodes of Season 3 of "FBI" - only to find that seasons 4, 5 and 6 cost £25 each to watch...

FFS Bezos you money grabbing cu...

"That's enough of that language, Dave"...

OK...

To bed at midnight...

Highlight of the Day : The sausages and filling my head with rock...
