Up at 7:40...
Writing up yesterday's diary while listening to the final 10 tracks or so for this week's podcast...
Breakfast around 9, soundtracked by Bach...
Upstairs and an enquiry from Anne re when we had the Venetian Blinds installed, sent me down a diary rabbit hole, as, on the same day they were put in (22/11/22), I decided to buy a new laptop - so I got sucked into re-reading about all the shenanigans I had to go through to get the system back up and running (a couple of weeks' work at least)...
I ended up reading a month of entries - and it made me appreciate all the hard work I put into maintaining this seemingly pointless drivel...
Who else can recall (ok with a prompt from the past) everything they've done for the last 20 years?
Soundtrack for this was new electronic music from Miguel Johnson and Martin Sturtzer...
Then, playing a couple of records, Yes and ELP...
Out and down the hill for a bus along to Murrayfield Golf Club at 1 for 1:30, for a big family lunch re Jane's 60th birthday...
In attendance me, Keith, Maureen, Rebecca, Lily, Oscar, Murray, Blair, Abbie, Craig, Jillian, Anne, Rae, David, Liz, Bob, Betty, Olly, Kitty and, last but not least, Jane...

Anne and I both went for the seafood...
...and the beef...
..and I also partook of some unpictured sticky toffee pudding...
Yum-tastic...
A "cake" for Jane...
And out, around 3:45...
..and a walk along to Jane & Bob's for more cake and drinks...
Candles were extinguished by Jane...
...and, then, by Rebecca, whose actual birthday it was today...
Carousing continued in the kitchen...
We exited for home around 8...
Two more "The Diplomat" pre bed...
Podcast having to be left until tomorrow...
Weekend over...
