Cloudland Blue Quartet - GLAM! III
Again, up just after seven...
No idea what this is - other than a possible future album cover...
The view from the office this morning...
I worked on integrating the desk recording of yesterday';s performance with the audince recording taken from the stage by my hand held recorder...
Done just before breakfast...
Over to Whitby for 10:30....
Scenes...
This the bar where we met with Andy and Jez on Friday - it all seems so long ago now...
Past the hall...
...and a look around the shops - nothing purchased...
It was Remembrance Sunday...
Back up to Skinner St and in here...
...for coffees...
...and buttered teacakes...
Scanner was here with his entourage...
He was not going to the hall for today's acts...
We were though, at least until we had to set off Northwards...
Andy's chum Chris and film and tech man Mike were onstage already, as Ammonites for a top notch set accompanying an excellent b/w film by the other film man, whose name escapes me...
At the Merch Table, I noticed this...
My US sometime collaborator Blue Sun Chasing...
A mystery indeed...
The CBQ boxes were thinned out a little...
Budget for the weekend covered nicely...
Purchased a CD by Audio Obscura, given we wouldn't be able to stay to see him play - and his wee boy had been dancing along to my set yesterday...
Next up, Jez as Modulator ESP...
Completely improvised 40 minute set (as his always are apparently), including some samples taken down at the beach over the weekend...
Farewells said, remaining Merch collected, back to the car and it was all over for "Switched On"...
A fun weekend...
Over the North York Moors...
..past Guiseborough and on, stopping at Morpeth for supplies, before arriving at chum Yuill's place near Bamburgh for the next couple of days...
We set off the alarm...
Luckily soon sorted via a call...
And in to relax for the rest of the evening...
We even managed to light the fire!
..and enjoyed the remains of last night's pizzas, along with some red wine...
...crisps and coffee and raspberries...
Late on, managed to connect the laptop to the WiFi...
...to update the list of "Live Suite" CDs...
A very enjoyable and, indeed, successful appearance for Mr CBQ...
To bed, post some footie on the telly...
"GLAM! III" in the cans...
Highlight of the Day : Arriving at Bamburgh...

Pretty good looking fire you've got going there. Bamburgh is a lovely spot too. Glad your festival appearance went well.
Cheers John! Had to look up a Youtube vid to keep us right but worked a treat!
