Home today...

Good light on arising around 6 or so...

...to the door...

...and outside for better views, while Anne slept on...

Back inside and writing this up for yesterday, while listening to "Disquietmusik"...

It's time to record "Disquietmusik VIII", of which, at present, all that exists is the cover...

Breakfast...

...accompanied by Bill Frisell...

A final tidy and off we went...

...but not without first...

...obtaining some fresh free range eggs from the farm next door...

A short drive to Berwick, parked and walked to the centre. ..

We passed the house of an old lady who enlisted our help in getting chocolate biscuits from her to the passing bin men...

What a kind old lady ...

I took a pic of the bin lorry to remind me...

Also, saw this Welsh Dresser for £200, which puts my mum's dining room unit into perspective re how much we might get for it...

Onwards...

Silversmithery admired by the EP but she is on the lookout for interesting gold...

Onwards...

In here...

...I got these two for £1...

Then to Repas7, on West Street...

...where tasty prune (for Anne) and cherry (for me) tarts were enjoyed...

...along with Americanos...

Out and perusing the funky wee shops on...

...West Street...

...before returning to previously unpictured Junk & Disorderly, where Anne partook of this basket...

...which was carried around for the remainder of the visit...

Back to the car and a projected home time of 13:06 was stretched a little by a stop off at my mum's on the way...

Home...

Pietro next door came out holding our router!

48 Hour tracked and apparently arrived on Friday - but I never received anything regarding its delivery...

Nothing seems to have gone right re all this but hopefully we were near completion...

Connected it up...

Surprise surprise, full fibre broadband did not work...

And the Talk Talk site was down so one for tomorrow...

Good that the router is here but the stress continues...

Soothed a little by ripping and listening...

...of the trip acquisitions...

I'd noticed a bit of a runny nose this morning...

By this evening, a full blown cold was in place...

Argh!

Some TV - "The Cleaner", "The Great British Bake Off", "Masterchef"...

To bed just after eleven, coughing and sniffing, much to Anne's delight...

Highlight of the Day : Router arrival...
