Dark...

Light, a little...

The snow was gone...

Still the weekend...

To work...

Writing and downloading - new Klaus Schulze, Violet Archers, Rudy Adrian...

Time for #A-Haydn-A-Day - Symphony No. 30 in C major, the "Alleluia", due to Haydn's use of a Gregorian Alleluia chant in the opening movement, it lasts just 14 minutes...

Written in 1765 when Haydn was 33, I only have two recordings and this one came into the collection just yesterday, thanks to this ongoing listening project...

Soundtracked breakfast...

Then, the grand final of "Taskmaster" - Andy Salzman triumphing...

Followed by the final two of "Cross" - satisfactory outcomes all round of what was rather a gruesome but entertaining 8 episode long series...

Hopefully, it will return...

Post the remains of the home made soup, Anne was off to Pickelball...

Me, I was reading in the back room, soundtracked by this...

Then, tidying the computer room, then, to more filing...

Trying to ensure each box has at least two spaces re almost inevitable future acquisitions...

In all 102 boxes done - bottom 3 rows plus 4; top two rows minus 2...

Around the same number still to be attended to...

Filing eh?

This soundtracked the "work"...

Anne home...

Post rugby tube traffic dying down, fish & chips for tea...

Strictly - me with headphones mostly...

"Moonflower Hotel"...

Anne had last night eschewed the chance to see Hearts being thrashed 4-1 at home by Celtic but had, in preparation for the match, purchased some Jelly Babies...

These, enjoyed this evening...

Back upstairs for music in the back room...

Tonight’s late on listening - Franck’s only string quartet, debuted just 7 months before his death in 1890 - bought at Harold Moores in London, April 2013 when I was down for the Denovali Festival, handing out free copies of "Riverleaves"...

...and Elvin Jones’ 1961/2 bandleader debut of 5 sextet and 2 trio pieces, remastered in 1995 - just £3 from Fopp, April 2016

To compiling the tracklist for this week's podcast, music of the last 7 days...

To be whittled to 25 tomorrow but, for now, off to bed with the playlist in the cans...

Occurred to me that the track I've been mucking about with re Edward Spark is actually "O Superman" - more work for tomorrow...
