Up and pulled up the lyrics for "O Superman" and singing it in my head over the track I've been working on based on Edward Spark's recent remix work...

No actual singing yet though, of course...

Writing this and prepping the podcast content...

As soon as Anne was up, a one take run through of "O Superman" and then, mixing it...

Three versions created, along with two instrumentals re the backing tracks...

A cover...

The vocal was slightly sibilant - I was hoping Mr Spark could fix that - he reckoned he could - the vocal was provided to him...

Post breakfast, recording the podcast and in went the original version, for now...

...ready for tomorrow...

The cleaned up vocal arrived back just as I had to leave - will sort tomorrow...

Around 11:30, out...

...down the hill and onto the bus...

Noted on the bus that, on BlueSky, the follower count has kind of exploded...

This from two weeks ago...

Up 50% since then - just over 550 - "likes" remain mostly about the same though...

Oh well...

This was soundtracking...

Arrived...

Out for the six monthly hook up with Yuill, Raymond and Bernie...

Bernie was in charge of this outing and had booked the The Golden Dragon - one of Edinburgh's oldest established Chinese restaurant...

The boys in the band...

Best version of this ever...

Custard balls...

Banana fritters...

All in all, the food was superb - the prices, however, were extortionate...

Ended up at £60 per head...

Not to worry, it's only once every 6 months...

To the nearby Alexander Graham Bell for cheap drink...

Raymond soon said his farewells - neither he nor Yuill was drinking (other than non-alchoholic)...

Out and a walk along...

...to Yuill's office for one last drink...

..,before he was off on pick up duty - me and Bernie headed to Corstorphine...

One further last imbibation (if that's a word) at the White Lady...

And then, up the hill on the bus - but only after having to disembark my first attempted bus ride, due to not being able to find my pass in my wallet...

Turned out it was showing the back of the pass when I looked through the plethora of cards and so I did not recognise it...

The Exec Producer, on hearing this story, pronounced me a "clown"...

I deemed myself "King of Clowns"...

Anyway, off at the terminus and a walk down..

And in...

Some TV watched - not too bad on the worse for wear stakes really, although, of course I fell asleep...

A message from Sheila - here's what mum's chum Linda has done with the crystal plate she chose from mum's things...

Better than anything we've done...

A lovely lady...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : A day out...
