Up super early as couldn't sleep...

Compiled my list of LPs from the 1st of 5 semi finals re the Twitter Poll for "Best LP of the 21st Century"...

Of course, as I'm so out of kilter with the majority of the electorate that voted for the 500 LPs in question, of the first 100, I have only these...

Today, tracks from each were duly listened to...

Anne was off to Pomo for lunch with Lynn...

I left 10 minutes or so later, for lunch with old chum, Malcolm, at Rustom, a couple of hundred yards away from where the ladies were lunching...

I went in early and was listening to this, created yesterday, on the way...

A trawl around the nearby chazza shops, found me partaking of these at the BHF...

...for just £4.50...

Then to the restaurant for an afternoon of fun chat with Talcy - stopping on the way to pick up some appropriate cans of Cobra...

Poppadoms and pakora were followed by a tasty looking Biriyani for Malc and a Dahl Makhani (lentils and cashew nuts) for me...

Mine does look less than appetising but the taste was top notch...

We arrived just after 1 and did not leave till around 4:30...

A bus home...

I missed my usual stop and landed at the terminus, close to which is this Xmassy house, which has featured in the diary before...

Home and ripping and listening...

...discovering that the Lamentations disc had been purchased just a couple of months ago - another one for Mr Cobley's collection then...

Late on tonight, news came in that Cassie, sister Sheila's Labrador had had be put to sleep today at almost 14 years old...

Here she is behind her chum Jessie...

A long life well lived...

It is, however, galling that, while lovely wee Cassie is gone, evil sociopath and megalomaniac, Donald Trump, is, somehow, still with us...

There is no justice in the world...

Highlight of the Day : Lunch with Malcolm...
