Couldn't sleep so, up and trawling for new music as it was Friday of course...
Anne's painting continues to progress towards completion...
...as Xmas fast approaches...
Today's calendar matched the blind and camper van....
Created a new piece based on a piano recital sent to me by Paul R of the daughter of a friend playing some tasty Scarlatti...
Of course, what I did bears no resemblance...
As is the nature of what I do...
Anne was off out with Lynn...
I did some work on tomorrow's podcast then, off over to Bonnyrigg to visit my mum...
Doing a bit better - still not walking about but her breathing is better and there was no oxygen being applied...
I advised though that I would no longer be discussing the use of her phone with her as...
(a) she cannot press the buttons in the right order and
(b) if she ever does, she cannot hear the person on the other end...
On the way, I'd popped into the only charity shop in Bonnyrigg...
I found 3 CDs I might like then noted the sign that said "CDs, 20 For £1"...
And so, 20 it was...
I got these plus another 3 which, it turned out, I already had...
The 3 I'd originally decided to acquire were "Disco" plus Kacey Musgrave and The Shirelles...
Back home, once again through town and, therefore, a 1 hour journey instead of the 20 minutes it would have taken had the bypass not been completely jammed..
Ripping and listening ensued...
Tea...
The haul...
We watched "Stepbrothers" with Will Ferrell and John C Reilly, spurred on by "Holmes & Watson" yesterday...
It was rubbish but still quite funny...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : CDs for 5p each...
