...and were making good time till a huge traffic jam as we tried to access the M6 - instead, we drove south to the next junction and then went via the outskirts of Manchester to Preston as a detour...

We stopped in Lancaster for coffees around 11...

It was bustling...

We bought some Indian starters which would be our tea tonight...

We headed on, choosing to go via Moffat, where we stopped again, rolls for lunch at 2...

Onwards and finally arrived home around 4, taking slightly longer than we'd expected...

I reconnected all the stuff...

While Anne, at first, tested negative for Covid....

Then, positive...

Both down with it now...

System back up...

Gave the Coopers a spin - incredibly warped but plays ok...

Indian snacks for tea...

This evening, Queen of the South HAD to beat Partick...

Pressure, pressure, pressure from Queens, chance after chance after chance - but no goals...

Then, inevitably, Partick got the only goal of the game with a breakaway...

Going down I think...

Oh well. it's only a game...

Good to be home but both of us now feeling utterly shite re Covid...
